Blockchain technologies, which are diffusing into nearly all the fields of technology, bring new opportunities and problems. Challenges in blockchain technologies arise from decentralization, scalability, and security issues. Decentralization is important because it is the heart of the blockchain technologies. Scalability is important because performance requirements increase with increasing number of transactions. Security is also a big issue in blockchain technologies. Mining like proof-of-work empowers security but it consumes a large amount of energy. In this paper, a random blockchain is proposed, which uses signing in mining activities. This novel feature contributes to decentralization. Moreover, a new and simple structure is enforced for the blockchain to increase security. The structure is adjusted automatically for scalability. Transactions are positioned in the blockchain according to the digital signatures of their content randomly. This random positioning of transactions as well as trivial mining supports security.
