Proceedings of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences / Comptes rendus de l’Academie bulgare des Sciences is a journal that was included soon after its founding in 1948, in the international exchange of publications and is part of the fund of academic and scientific libraries in Austria, Germany, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Hungary and the Czech Republic - traditionally associated with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences since mid 20th century.

Proceedings of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences / Comptes rendus de l’Academie bulgare des Sciences is one of the most authoritative Bulgarian scientific journals in the international exchange of publications.

Annually, 120 copies of the 12 books are distributed to more than 100 partner libraries, as follows:

1. For the libraries of the institutes of the BAS - 28 copies;

2. For Bulgarian partners - 8 copies;

3. For international academic, university, national, public and museum libraries and centres - 84 copies.
